Aleta D - Poultry

...

Product Description

- ALETA D™ is a unique Beta-Glucan product derived from algae, which is used for immune support and modulation to improve the general health of animals.

- ALETA D™ is derived from unique algae (Euglena Gracilis) containing more than 50% (1,3) Beta-Glucan.

- ALETA D™ contains a highly bioavailable (1,3) Beta-Glucan which will help animals during stress, disease, and vaccination periods

Composition

- Dried algae (Euglena Sp.): 1000 gm - (1,3) Beta–Glucans: 500 gm

Mode of action

- ALETA D™ activates the immune cells and increases their ability to fight off disease.

- After ingestion, the 1,3-beta glucans reach the small intestine where they are absorbed through Peyer’s patches, which are part of the gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT).

- Macrophages and other immune cells recognize 1,3-beta glucans through a variety of cell surface receptors, such as dectin-1, complement receptor 3 (CR3), and toll-like receptors (TLR).

- Gastrointestinal macrophages engulf the 1,3-beta glucans and transport them throughout the body to secondary lymphoid sites (e.g., lymph nodes, spleen, bone marrow, etc.), while simultaneously releasing fragments of 1,3-beta glucans.

- The recognition and ingestion (phagocytosis) of the 1,3-beta glucans by macrophages also triggers the release of signaling molecules such as cytokines.

- These signaling molecules can activate other immune cells ((T- cells, B-cells, natural killer cells, ….) and promote their recruitment to the infected site.

- Activated macrophages and immune cells effectively target and destroy foreign cells and disease-causing organisms.

Indications

1- Young birds (broilers, pullets)

2- Stressed birds

3- Birds with a physiologically reduced immune system

4- Birds with a low-level specific immune response (e.g., fish and shrimp)

5- Birds with suppressed immune systems due to natural infections (Reovirus, Eimeria, Mycoplasma, Infectious bronchitis virus...) or due to vaccinations

6- Used to increase the efficacy of vaccination.

Inclusion rate

Poultry: 0.5-1Kg/MT of feed

Features

- The only algae-derived beta-glucan (Euglena)

- High concentration, > 50% Beta-glucan compare to yeast which contains only 25% beta-glucan

- No need for extraction, highly bioavailable compared to yeast beta-glucan which needs extraction

- Resists processing conditions such as high pressure and temperature

Benefits

- Increase efficiency of vaccination by increasing antibody titer

- Reduce the susceptibility to diseases

- Reduce the use of antibiotics

- Increase the resistance of poultry to stress

- No risk of accidental overdosing due to standardization
