Product Description

- APHTHOVAC 7 is an FMD vaccine that contains selected and updated strains for the broadest protection. 

- APHTHOVAC 7 contains ISA 206 adjuvant, for a better immune response that lasts for up to 9 months. 

- APHTHOVAC 7 contains high antigenic mass, for stronger protection and faster immune response starting 10 days PV.

- APHTHOVAC 7 gives better protection than the aqueous vaccine 

- APHTHOVAC 7 protects cattle from clinical disease 10 days PV with a single dose and sheep 9-10 days PV

- APHTHOVAC 7 emergency vaccination clinically protects all three major susceptible species.

- APHTHOVAC 7 decreases virus shedding.

 

Composition

APHTHOVAC 7 contains the following FMD strains:

A-Iran-05, A-Africa G-IV (2022), A-Europe SA, O-PanAsia-2, O-Manisa 69, O-EA3, SAT2/Eri/98 and SAT2/Lib/12

 

Indications

For the prophylaxis against FMD

 

Target Species

Cattle, sheep, and goats.

 

Vaccination Program

Large ruminants: vaccinate at 3 months of age: 3 ml/animal. 

Small ruminants: vaccinate at 3 months of age: 1 ml/animal.

Booster vaccination dose should be given 4 weeks later, then biannually.

Immunity starts to develop about 10 days after immunization and animals should be fully protected after 3 weeks.
