Product Description

- Suramox® OSP is a water-soluble 50% amoxicillin trihydrate (with vanilla aroma) with Virbasol® process that assures solubility and stability to the final solution even under difficult conditions due to its functions of pH regulation, optimized solubility, and hardness regulation activity.

- Suramox® OSP is indicated for infections due to bacteria susceptible to amoxicillin.

 

Indications

For Poultry: infections due to Escherichia coli, Pasteurella spp., and Hemophilus spp.

 

Composition

Per gram contains amoxicillin trihydrate 500 mg 

 

Dosage

- The dosage is 15-20 mg/kg BW equivalent to 30-40 mg of Suramox 50% OSP/kg of BW/day.

- Prevention (3-5 days): 0.15-0.20 g/liter of drinking water, depending on the weight and water consumption of the animals. 

- Treatment (5-7 days): 0.15-0.25 g/liter of drinking water, depending on the weight and water consumption of the animals.

 

Contraindications

- Birds with hypersensitivity to penicillin

- Laying hens that produce eggs for human consumption.
