Product Description

Erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic with bacteriostatic activity against gm+ve bacteria such as Staphylococci, Streptococci, Coryne Spp., Clostridial Spp. and is active against all types of Mycoplasma Spp. 

 

Composition

Each 1 gm contains: Erythromycin thiocyanate: 350 mg (Eq. to 326 mg erythromycin base) 

 

Indications

Chicken and turkey 

1- Avian Mycoplasmosis, CRD and air sacculitis (Mycoplasma gallisepticum)

2- Infectious sinusitis (M. meleagridis)

3- Infectious synovitis (M. synoviae)

4- Staphylococcal and Streptococcal infections

 

Dosage

Chicken and turkey: 1 gm/liter drinking water daily for 3-5 days)

 

Withdrawal time

Poultry: 7 days

 

Contraindications

Contraindicated to be used with chloramphenicol and penicillin or other macrolides
