- KEMZYME® is a unique multi-enzyme solution for complex substrates, designed to have maximum functionality in varying feed formulations.

- KEMZYME® combines three different NSP enzymes (xylanase, Beta-glucanase, and cellulase) for the degradation of structural NSP and two different endogenous-like enzymes (amylase and protease).

- KEMZYME® is the only EU-registered additive with 5 declared and quantified enzyme activities, Identification number 4a1620i

 

Composition

5 declared enzyme activities & all side enzyme activities from A, B, C, D, and E.

1- Beta-glucanase from Aspergillus aculeatus

2- Xylanase from Trichoderma viride

3- Cellulase from Trichoderma longibrachiatum

4- Amylase from Bacillus subtilis strain 1

5- Protease from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens

 

Mode of action

- KEMZYME® is active at both low and neutral pH, thanks to a combination of fungal and bacterial enzymes:

- Efficient throughout the entire intestinal tract.

- Earlier and longer impact on feed digestion resulting in higher nutrient availability.

- Complements endogenous enzyme production with extra protease and amylase – key to overcoming deficiencies in young birds.

- Increases crude protein digestibility and nitrogen retention

- Improves digestibility of the NSP fraction of the diet.

- Reduces microbial growth in the small intestine and endogenous losses.

- Reduces gut viscosity and improves gut health.

Inclusion rate

Efficient and easy to incorporate at a flexible dosage:

KEMZYME® Plus Dry for use in complete feed of chickens and turkeys: 250g – 500 g /ton of feed

KEMZYME® concentrated Dry for use in a premix/concentrates before use in complete feed:

- Chickens and turkeys: 25 – 50 g/ton of feed

It can be applied either:

- “On top” of the existing feed formula, for enhancing bird performance

- In a re-formulation strategy for saving feed costs, through the replacement of raw materials by other, less costly ingredients with lower nutritional value and higher fiber content.
