Composition

Each 1 ml contains: Colistin sulfate 126 mg (Eq. to 120 mg= 2400000 IU colistin base)

 

Indications

Treatment and metaphylaxis of enteric infections caused by non-invasive E. Coli, susceptible to colistin.

 

Dosage

Oral use in drinking water

Chickens and turkeys: 75 000 IU of colistin sulfate per kg body weight daily for 3-5 consecutive days in drinking water.

Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.

 

Precautions

- Not to be given with aminoglycoside antibiotics.

- Not to be used Parerltally.

- Large doses in long administration may produce GIT distress.

- Not to be used to chicken producing eggs for human consumption.
