Product Description

Sulfadiazine is a short-acting sulfonamide.

The combination of trimethoprim and sulfadiazine acts synergistic and is usually bactericidal against many 

Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like;

- E. coli - Haemophilus - Pasteurella - Salmonella - Staphylococcus - Streptococcus spp. 

 

Composition

Each 1 ml contains:

- Sulfadiazine Sod.:230mg (Eq. to 200 mg sulfadiazine base)

- Trimethoprim 40 mg

 

Indications

- Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by trimethoprim and sulfadiazine-sensitive micro-organisms

- Cases of diarrhea caused by infection with coccidiosis and salmonella

 

Withdrawal period

Poultry meat and offal: 10 days.

Eggs: Not for use in birds producing or intended to produce eggs for human consumption.

 

Dosage

1 ml per 2 liters of drinking water for 3 consecutive days
