Product Description

- Sal CURB S® is a preservative for the control of salmonella and other bacteria in feeds and other feed raw materials.

- Sal CURB S® is an antimicrobial with a unique synergistic combination of powerful compounds and surface-active agents.

- Sal CURB S® effectively combats pathogenic bacteria in feed, decontaminates feed by killing Salmonella and other pathogens, and limiting their growth to prevent decontamination.

 

Composition

- Formaldehyde gas 35 % - Propionic acid 10 %

- UF concentrate - Surfactant.

 

Mode of action

- Sal CURB S® damages the structure of the pathogen’s cellular membrane increases its permeability and leads to the death of the microorganisms.

- Sal CURB S® penetrates the Salmonella cell with ease and disrupts the normal cell physiology (reduction of intracellular pH and ion accumulation) resulting in cell death. It also causes denaturation of bacterial protein, resulting in the death of the pathogenic bacteria.

 

Indications

Sal CURB S® is applicable for treating:

1. Feed raw materials

2. Processed feed materials

3. Mash & pelleted compound feeds

4. Silos, mixers, and all the production lines.

 

Inclusion rate

Dosage is dependent on contamination risk assessment.

- Animal feed: 0.5 – 1 Kg / MT of feed.

- For silo cleaning: 1 kg / 25 m² silo surface

- Animal and vegetable protein: 3 Kg / MT of feed
