Product Description
- Ampromid premix is broad spectrum anticoccidial
- Ampromid acts in the early stages of the coccidia life cycle.
- It is used for the prevention of coccidiosis in broilers caused by Eimeria acervulina, Eimeria burnetti, Eimeria necatrix, Eimeria mivatis, Eimeria maxima, and Eimeria tenella.
Composition
Each 1 Kg contains:
- Amprolium HCl: 250 gm (Equiv. To 225 gm amprolium base)
- Ethopabate: 16 gm
Indications
It is used as an aid in the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in chickens and turkeys by the administration in feed.
Dosage
- Orally with feed at the rate of 125 mg per kg of the ration
Chickens:
- Replacement birds: it should be administered continuously from day old to 16-18 weeks of age.
Broilers:
- It should be administered continuously from day-old until 3 days before slaughter.
Turkeys:
- It should be administered continuously from day old continuing for 8-10 weeks
Precautions
- Not used in birds producing eggs for human consumption.
Withdrawal periods
Poultry: 3 days
